How Rarity Works

Rarity decides how strong a unit is and how hard it is to obtain. Secret units are the rarest and most powerful, followed by Mythic, Legendary and Epic. In Anime Origins, higher rarity usually means stronger passives, but a well-placed Epic can still carry early Story Mode if you build around it.

Each rarity also affects how you obtain the unit. Secret units like Valcrad (Alucard) come from the banner with extremely low odds, while Mythic units such as Goju (Honored One) Gojo and Noroto (Linked) Naruto are more realistic goals.
